Skip It Dec 06, 2008 I bought the Photoshop Elements 3 and Premiere Elements 1 bundle four years ago, and decided to but the new bundle this year.
What a waste. Does Adobe do any Quality Assurance testing before they ship products? No. Premiere Elements 4 is riddled with bugs. Photoshop Elements 6 offers no compelling reason to upgrade over v3.
Digital Art Nov 29, 2008 I love using the Photoshop Elements, I didn't like the Premiere Elements so much though. I have found another program that is easyer to use and gives me the controle of my work that I want.
You Sir, or NOT Photoshop Oct 29, 2008 I won't go into too much detail in this review, just let me say this - Photoshop Elements is NOT for anyone who has ever used, or is even slightly comfortable using, the regular version of Photoshop. Premiere Elements is a pleasant surprise so far, very nice. However, I wish I could return the Photoshop Elements portion of this package.
I suppose all of the "automated" aspects of Photoshop Elements come in handy for users new to the world of graphic/image editing, but I was convinced I'd be able to turn them off - not much luck with that. Sadly I'm finding it very difficult trying to stop Photoshop Elements from "helping" me, and destroying or at least disorganizing my work. Very frustrating.
I suppose this is all my own fault, if I had only taken my money out of the stock market sooner I would have been able to afford a copy of the REAL Photoshop. =) Anyway, read more reviews before you purchase Photoshop Elements and make sure you know what you're buying.
Love It! Sep 15, 2008 I used Elements 4 for a long time. I really like the updated version as well. Have not used Elements 4 yet but previewed it and it sounds great.
I love photoshop Sep 14, 2008 I am so pleased with photoshop. I wish it came with a better explanation of how to use it, but with a few tutorials on youtube it was very easy and fun to do! I also go the missing manual book for photoshop, which is super helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
