The OC-82 is designed to withstand hard use in any environment. Kata's TST technology on the front of the bag and the honeycomb reinforced circumference provide ultimate protection for the gear within. The Organizer Case features two full sized compartments. The first deep compartment can hold a mini lighting kit, or just a single small / medium light. The second shallow compartment is designed to hold cables and accessories, or a laptop. A large external padded pocket for personal effects and an internal accessory pocket panel will allow for additional storage solutions. 2 straps are available to connect a small lighting stands to the exterior of the case. The OC-82 features a strong padded carrying handles and BSS shoulder strap.

In the way that only Kata Bags can provide you have durable rugged and all weather conditions bag for both your camera equipment and your laptop gear all in one. I have no complaints for this bag it is well worth the extra money.

I love this case with the (optional) trolley or without Nov 18, 2007
I initially purchased the Kata OC-84, this case's older sibling that comes with the trolley, but when it arrived it was just too big for my usage. (The size of a large suitcase.)

This one holds just what I want for a shoot: Two DSLR camera bodies, two or three (smaller) lenses, and enough accessories for most assignments. If I brought the 100-400 zoom, though, it does take up a little less than half of the case. You are able to fashion the interior dividers to deal with just about any combination of gear.

The Kata people make body armor, too, and you can tell by the exterior of this product that it is meant to last. There is insulation that protects the interior temperature-wise as well. And when I had to check the case (not with valuable camera gear, only because I am more worried about theft), it came through without a single mark. While heavy when fully loaded, the included wide shoulder strap spreads the load to make carrying easier than one would expect. This bag comes with a 5-year warranty.
